Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each assistant is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant by the state of Texas, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.
Laura • Treatment Coordinator
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Laura and her family have lived in Fort Worth since 1991. For Laura, the most rewarding aspect of her job is the joy of knowing that they are able to change someone’s smile for the rest of their life. She loves meeting new people and seeing the finished product at the end of treatment.
She and her husband, Jeff, have two children, Sydney and Carter. In her spare time, she enjoys scrap booking and cross-stitching. In addition, she loves hiking with her family, whether it is in the Fort Worth area or in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado.
Kris • Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Kris has been working in orthodontics since 1993 and considers the patients to be best part of her work. She enjoys talking with all of the patients and their families, and getting to know them. Her favorite part of orthodontics is seeing the change in someone when they get their braces off and knowing that she helped make their smile beautiful.
Kris is married to her wonderful husband, Philip. She has a cat named Sophie Crackers, who is considered the baby of the family and makes Kris’ life interesting. Kris and Philip love doing anything and everything together including watching Dallas Stars Hockey, eating out, going to concerts, going to church, antique shopping and especially spending a relaxing night at home just watching a movie.
Katrina • Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Katrina enjoys orthodontics because it gives patients a smile they will be proud of for years to come. She also likes the fact that there are always technological advancements involved in teeth straightening. As an orthodontic assistant, she enjoys working with Dr. Bekish because of his happy attitude and funny sense of humor.
Katrina’s family consists of two very large and loveable chocolate Labrador Retrievers, one talkative Quaker Parrot (Jade), one old sweet rabbit (Gray), one cocky rooster (Chick-a-doo) and two hungry fish (Mr. Blackwell and Elvis – his lip turns on one side). She also has family that lives nearby. When she is not working, she enjoys playing with her animals, shopping, working in the yard, working on stained glass and visiting her non-animal family members.
Jennifer • New Patient Coordinator
Jennifer is our New Patient Coordinator. She loves being able to connect with each patient individually, relieving any concerns or fears, and then seeing their beautiful, life-changing smiles at the end of treatment.
Jennifer has been married since 1998 and has three wonderful children, Paige, Matthew and Will. She enjoys spending time with her family and when she gets some free time, loves to squeeze in a good book. She is an avid sports fan and will always stay faithful to the blue and silver - Go Dallas Cowboys!
Secilia
Secilia has been working in the orthodontic field since 1998. She enjoys seeing patients on a monthly basis and getting to know what is going on in their lives.
Secilia and her husband, Richard, enjoy watching their two children, Richard and Caleb, play baseball. Secilia also enjoys spending time with her extended family laughing and eating her Grandma’s old fashioned Mexican food.
